Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned the big 2-6 two weeks ago! It was a delightful birthday and they just seem to get better every year. I will say that this was the first year that I felt like my age was old, since I'm closer to 30 now. haha But I relaize that I am still a youngin and have a long way to go before I am actually old.
On the actual day of my birthday in the morning, we had some family pictures taken by our good friend Krystal, it was really fun and she is a fantastic photographer (i'll do a post on that soon including my favorite pics). So that was a good start to the day. When we got back I opened a few presents and then Eric went out for a little bit and brought me back flowers. In the evening we took Sierra to Eric's parents and we went to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner and then to the movies to see new moon.

Then we picked up Sierra and came home to have ice cream cake and sparkling cider. It was such a nice day and I loved spending it with my little family!

My SIL Alyssa and I have our birthday's one day apart so we celebrated both our birthday's the next day.
My mother-in-law always works so hard to make our birthdays really special. She is so cute and stresses over what she buys us and always does such a good job.
She got us a giant birthday balloon that sings happy birthday and Sierra has been OBSESSED with it ever since, it is still going strong, exceeding it's promise of 50 plays by probably 500 and Sierra still wants it to play continuously throughout the day 2 weeks later. haha






I forgot to mention that the day before my brithday (and our family pictures) Sierra dove into Kye's door and got a HUGE goose egg on her forehead. Then during the pictures she bumped her head on a flower pot and got a scratch right above the bump and then later that night she fell holding a tin jell-o mold and scraped her chin. So she is kind of a mess in these pictures. Poor little massacred face.

Here is the bump the night it happened. It was a lot better the next day, thankfully.
