Big Girl Bed

On Friday we finally decided to turn Sierra's crib into a toddler bed. We talked about it for a while, but I kept putting it off because she LOVES her crib and i didn't want her getting out of her bed during naps.
It's been going pretty good. There have been a few Sierra sightings so far though. I actually think it's really funny when she just appears at the top of the stairs when she's supposed to be napping or in bed for the night. (of course i don't let her know that) But she has been pretty good.

The only problem is, now she thinks its really cool to climb into Brooklyn's bed. I don't think Brooklyn appreciates it. haha

Yarn Wreath

I have been lusting after these for a while now and finally made one last weekend. It was so much fun! I already have plans to make a mini one for Brooklyn's room.

I didn't use a specific tutorial for this, just looked at several different ones and made it up. Same with the felt flowers, I was too impatient to find a good tutorial so i just made them up and the first ones i tried worked so i just used them. haha

Crayon Roll

A few people asked me where I got the tutorial for the crayon roll on my last post. It was from Skip To My Lou and was really pretty easy! (other than the ric rack which was a bit of a pain to get right) We made it a little taller than they did to fit the twist up crayons.

Mommy visit

My mom came for a visit a couple of weeks ago. It was SO nice to have some extra help and to get out of the house every day and do something! We had lots of fun eating, shopping, sewing, and [some] relaxing! all dressed up for church

We also made cute shirts for Sierra and Brooklyn, but we stayed up until like 3am the night before my mom's flight doing them and didn't get Brooklyn's done. So my mom took it home to finish. I'll post pictures of them once I get them reunited (the shirts, not the girls).
