Thanksgiving

This year we stayed around here for thanksgiving and went to Eric's Aunt Carol's house. It's so nice to have family near by. Aunt Carol and Eric's mom went all out as usual and made way too much food. Everything was delicious. To give you an example of their out of controlness, here is a list of just the desserts that they made:
2 apple pies
2 pumpkin pies
chocolate cheesecake
pavlova
frozen strawberry dessert
lemon bars
seven layer bars
pumpkin roll
All for 12 people. To give you an example of how much of a fatty i was on thanksgiving, lets just say i had all of the desserts except for one.
Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures this year, but I did get a couple pics of Sierra in a little tugboat that Aunt Carol pulled out for her and a video of her on a slide that she LOVED. It kept her entertained for HOURS. She didn't take a nap at all that day. That's how much she loved the slide.

There are so many things to be thankful for this year. But most of all I am so thankful for my beautiful little daughter who gives me hours of entertainment, my wonderful husband, our families who are such a good example to us and all of our good friends. We are healthy, happy, and have everything that we need and more!
Oh, and did I mention that I get to go to Paris on Saturday for a week with Eric? I'm pretty thankful for that too!
I hope everyone else had a memorable thanksgiving this year too!

Halloween Party

I've never really cared that much about Halloween before, but now that Sierra is getting older and we have more family arond this year (Ryan and Alyssa), we decided to throw a halloween party! It was so much fun! I loved decorating for it! Halloween just might be one of my favorite holidays from now on. I can't wait to do it again next year!

We got a fog machine and everytime it went off Sierra was TERRIFIED of it.

I made this table cloth out of masking tape.
Alyssa's yummy cupcakes

Our neighbour is obsessed with Halloween. He was walking up and down the street dressed like that and they always go all out with their decorations. Too bad we only get like 10 trick or treaters.
These were fun to decorate

Trunk or Treat

Barbie, Ken and a little fairy
People thought we were Heidi and Spencer. They also guessed I was Christina Aguilera and Paris Hilton. hahaha

Sierra and her cute little witch friend Victoria
Danny and Sandy showed up fashionably late
Sandy and Barbie just hangin out in the hall of the church. No big deal.
Ken and Danny showing their true colors.
It was fun to dress up this year, even if they were minimal costumes. Eric's wig was the most hilarious thing. It was just so hideous, no one could take it.
The cutest little baker. I used to team teach primary with this lady. She is a hoot. (did i really just say hoot?)
The fairy was pretty tired on the way home
But don't worry, she perked right up once we got her in the door and was ready for more partying.

Pumpkin Picking

All the pumpkins were green by the time we got to the patch. I think that's why Sierra's making that face.

She wasn't too sure about sitting on the pumpkins.
She liked the little maze.

After our pumpkin picking adventure we went to Broom's Bloom to get some yummy Ice Cream. They have the best flavors. We got black raspberry, chocolate, banana peanut butter and rice pudding

Whenever Sierra really likes something she starts bouncing into the back of the chair. It's really funny. She LOVES ice cream.
