Day 3: Eiffel Tower

Today was the first day that Eric had meetings. So I was trapped in the mini hotel room with French tv channels (aside from a couple of depressing news channels). Mostly I read, slept and played games on my cell phone. Eric got back around 6 and we went to a deli/pastry shop and got ham on baguettes which were pretty good. We got a buchette and an eclair for dessert.

Delicious Buchette

It is the 120th anniversary of the opening of the Eiffel Tower right now so they have light shows going on every hour which was pretty cool. Our camera sucks at night.

Here's a little video of the light show. Don't mind my awesome filming skills.

The Seine river is behind us. It looked really pretty from this area at night. So romantic.
